The Art of Meat represents a novel approach to modern Gourmet Butchery.

The unique selling point is that The Art of Meat provides all the traditional skills of the family butcher, combining them with novel technical food design to create gourmet meat products with an innovative twist. After leaving a career in Molecular Biology, owner Jon West has created a modern take on the traditional butcher’s shop.

The Anchor Inn, Sutton Gault, Cambridgeshire

Riverside The Anchor InnRiverside Beef Producers have now been supplying the Anchor Inn at Sutton Gault for the past year. The Anchor Inn nestles into the riverbank of the Ouse Washes, where many of our cattle graze during the summer months.

The shop is a gem of a place situated on the Over Road out of Willingham.  From the outside it looks little more than a modern farm building.  Inside it is an Aladdin’s cave of quality products.  These include a complete range of locally sourced fresh meats, pies and cooked meats, along with cheeses and a comprehensive range of preserves. Steve and his colleague Mike Smith offer a warm welcome and are only too happy to help and guide you to products you might not have tried before.  Well worth a visit.
